Labrador Retriever Litter Update | AKC Black, Yellow & Chocolate Labrador Puppies in Virginia.
If you’ve been following along with our breeding program, we’re excited to share an update on our newest litter of AKC Labrador Retriever puppies, born on June 29th here in Bedford County, Virginia!
The puppies are growing beautifully, becoming more curious every day, and beginning to show their unique personalities. Watching them reach each new milestone is easily one of the most rewarding parts of raising a litter.
We have already received several deposits—including one for our yellow male—but we currently have one chocolate female and two black male puppies available.
That said, our main goal is always to place the right puppy with the right home. We believe every Labrador deserves to be a cherished family member for years to come. If that means waiting a little longer for the ideal match, we completely understand and are happy to keep you in mind for future litters. However, if the timing, personality, and bloodline of one of these puppies align with what you’re looking for, we would love to consider you for taking a puppy home this August.
Born in Our Home, Loved by Our Family
As you know if you’ve chatted with us before, our puppies are born inside our home and raised as part of our family. They hear normal household noise, interact with adults and children daily, play with our other dogs, and are gently introduced to new experiences as they grow.
During their first eight weeks with us, they receive:
- Socialization: Daily handling from people of all ages.
- Environment Exposure: Interaction with other adult dogs and safe new environments.
- Crate introduction: Early familiarity with crate sleeping and routine.
- Sensory Exploration: Exposure to a variety of surfaces, textures, sounds, and play items to build confidence.
- Enrichment: Age-appropriate activities designed to encourage curious, outgoing temperaments.
These early weeks help lay a strong foundation for confident, friendly, and family-oriented Labrador Retrievers.

Health and Quality Matter
The parents of this litter are fully AKC registered and DNA health-tested, ensuring we breed only happy, healthy dogs.
Before leaving for their forever homes, each puppy will:
- Receive a complete veterinary examination and age-appropriate vaccinations at Bedford Animal Hospital
- Go home with official AKC registration paperwork
- Receive a custom puppy starter pack to ease their transition
- Receive a written health guarantee and complete health records
We are always happy to discuss our breeding program and answer any questions from prospective families. We love raising these puppies and preparing them for their next chapter!
Ready for Their Forever Homes in Late August
Our puppies will be ready to join their new families during the last week of August.
Keeping them with their littermates for eight full weeks allows them to continue developing physically, socially, and emotionally before making the transition. We believe these early weeks set both the puppies and their new families up for long-term success.
